Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, maintain your session, and understand how you interact with the site. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage.

2. On kwudo.com before you sign in

Every page sets the two sign-in security cookies below and a sign-in status entry in local storage. The cookies hold a random token and the site address and are deleted when you close the browser; the local storage entry holds a sign-in status message and the time it was written. None of them identifies you. The scroll position is kept only for the open tab. The language and theme entries are written only when you choose a language or a theme. Each entry is needed for the site to work or to do what you asked, so we do not ask for consent.

4. Analytics and advertising

We use no analytics or advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels).

5. Payments

Checkout on a creator's storefront is handled by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention while you pay. See the Stripe Cookie Policy.

6. Storefront visits

When someone visits a storefront or follows a campaign link, we record the visit on our server (time, approximate location, device and browser, referring page). This sets no cookie on the visitor's device.

7. Removing stored data

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you remove the sign-in cookies, you will be signed out.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
