Set up a custom storefront domain
Connect your own domain, add the required DNS record, and confirm that HTTPS is active.
- 1
Open Custom Domains
Open Store › Storefront and find Your own domain. A custom domain is a Basic feature, and one domain can be connected to a Basic storefront.
Open Storefront - 2
Enter the domain
Add the domain or subdomain you want buyers to use. Kwudo shows the DNS record required for that exact address.
- 3
Update DNS with your provider
Sign in to the company where your domain is managed and add the record Kwudo displays. Copy the host and target exactly, without adding an extra protocol or path.
- 4
Verify the connection
Return to Kwudo and choose Verify. Once the DNS record is visible, Kwudo connects the domain and provisions HTTPS before marking it Active.
- 5
Test the public address
Open the custom domain in a private browser window and check the storefront, product pages, and booking links before sharing it.
Good to know
- DNS changes can take time to appear; an immediate failed check does not always mean the record is wrong.
- Keep the required DNS record in place while the domain is connected.
